A LebAnon is typically a skillful, resourceful and goodwilled internet dweller with roots from and/or a passionate affection to the eponymous country.
Anonymous by default, LebAnons thrive by nature to bring open, fair & decentralized governance for all – aloof to any clan, partisanship or wasta.
LebAnonsDAO is an overarching way to consolidate, organize & empower this meta community spread across the motherland, the diaspora & the web itself.
Sensible to the aphorism “if it needs to be sold, you probably shouldn’t buy it”, the common spirit and values shared by (most) LebAnons via this initiative can be reflected upon at will through the following 7 guiding mottos:

Declaration of DAO objectives
Concretely, the LebAnons aim to co-leverage the DAO’s digital tools and crowd-resources to:
1 — Join forces through tracked discussion, proposal and execution of collaborative web-based projects
2 — Educate on governance alternatives in order to kick-start the emulsion of a common swarm intelligence
3 — Onboard Lebanese on-chain: internauts and potential beneficiaries (NGOs, initiatives, artists, reporters…)
4 — Co-build & maintain digital tools and dApps to gradually consolidate into a platform for co-creations
5 — Attract diverse philanthropic talents for time contributions & crypto donations to the multi-sig treasury
6 — Leverage the multi-sig common treasury to fund approved initiatives and grow LebAnons ecosystem
7 — Vote transparently & inclusively on formal & important projects decisions via Snapshot and/or Aragon
